We lives in Haraker- Sweden and our family consists of four twolegged members. Håkan, me-Tina and our two kids Isabelle and Malin. Three fourlegged members, Caddie, Lizzie and Tosca. Sometimes We also have a couple of sheeps during the spring, summer and autumn. We have lived here in Haraker, Skultuna since 1989. Haraker is about 1,5 hour from Stockholm by car.

We have had Australian Shepherds from jan. 1998 and before that we had Dobermanns to work with in tracking, obedience and forest-search.

With our Aussies we do obedience, tracking and herding. Håkan has been herding for a couple of years and during 2005 I have my first herding experiences with my female Lizzie.

Our breeding goal is to keep the Australian Shepherd like the healthy allround working dog it has been from the beginning. A dog with lots of "willing to please" and a body construction to have energy and power to enjoy working all day if so needs. We want him to be your right hand in all sorts of work. We thinks that a breed like the Australian Shepherd should have an active life to feel good. Here is some example of what we think good dogsports are: Tracking, obedience, SAR or if you have the opportunity to have sheeps or cattle so they can herd, that´s of course the favourite work for most of them.

Our dogs lives inside the house and so do the puppies too. Until now, we have had three litters, the first in 2002, the second in 2004, and the third in 2007.

As I said earlier, the puppies are raised inside our house. They meet new people when they are about three and a half to four weeks old. At the same time we introduced them to the backyard were they have lots of balls and other things to play with in all sorts of material.They have also things to climb up to and down on and things to do balancing on and tubes to go thru.

We think this activities helps the pup in his future life to be concentrate in his work, to be playful dogs and that it helps them to feel secure in all sorts of environments if we have playgrounds like this for them to examine and things to play a lot with. Couple of times we changes this backyard playgrounds to see how they reacts and to let them be used to new things to climb on and play with.

Not to forget, they also got A LOT OF LOVE and CARE from the people around them.
